There are two or three temporary exhibits per year at the Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island, featuring various aspects of Acadian life from yesterday and today.   Most of them are produced by the Museum, and occasionally, the Museum welcomes travelling exhibits.

Exhibit: "THE ACADIANS OF TIGNISH:  TWO CENTURIES OF HISTORY"

Duration:  April 25 - November 21, 1999

Description: The exhibit depicts the 200 year history of the Acadians of Tignish since their arrival from Malpeque in 1799 until today.  The following are the titles of the 19 different sections:
